The Ocean Drive Upgrade project focuses on enhancing a 3.4-kilometre stretch of road between Greenmeadows Drive and Matthew Flinders Drive. The project aims to improve traffic flow, safety, and infrastructure while accommodating cyclists and protecting local wildlife. Ausling is playing a key role, with their team providing significant onsite management and engineering support.
Key elements of the project include:
Ausling’s Project Manager leads EnergyCo’s NE REZ road upgrades program, providing a central interface between EnergyCo, local Council Road managers and Transport for NSW.
Working with the Roads Advisor and Technical Team, the Ausling Project Manager coordinates Oversize Over mass, port-to-REZ, traffic, cumulative impact and road upgrade studies and designs, while managing specialist service providers and supporting the procurement and delivery of early works. The role provides integrated project management and technical coordination to support the safe and efficient delivery of the road infrastructure required to enable the NE REZ.
